The Track

What a great day to go to The Track! Fall in Florida is upon us, it was 75 degrees today for a high, which made it a perfect day for outdoor fun. It was a bit chilly for Shane and Leif after they got squirted down from the water shooting bumper boats!!! Max loved the go-cart ride even though he was holding on for his life! Dallin liked to ride on the cars and even enjoyed the little train ride.

Soccer game

Leif's first soccer game of the season. He was sick all week and finally by Saturday his fever was gone. He wasn't 100 percent, but he needed to get out of the house, Max and I as well. Shane drove through the night to get home from Texas so he was there as well. It was nice to have him back in one piece even though his car didn't make it back. He had an accident on the way to Texas, he hit a tire in the middle of the interstate and ripped out the entire bottom of his car. We don't know when he will get his car back but as of now it sits in Texas waiting to get repaired until we drive out there and pick it up. Did I say lately just how much WE LOVE TEXAS and driving through there???????No! I didn't think so.

Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to pick out our pumpkins at the pumpkin patch in Niceville. The kids always have a great time. Leif loves to jump around in the bouncy house and Max loves to hold and pet the animals in the petting zoo and Dallin likes to chew on pumpkin stems.So far Max has not asked if he can bring home a bunny, probably next year I am guessing. Dallin wasn't too impressed with petting the bunnies he thought they were too fuzzy and after a while was pulling away his hand. Leif is mostly intrigued by the bouncy house and did not want to hold the bunnies, although he did pet a chicken and the pig. It's always a fun day out and it's our kick off to fall as the weather is getting cool!

I really don't know why Max is holding his pumpkins like that!!!

Painting Pumpkins

Max and Leif were so excited to get home and paint their pumpkins. They did a great job and actually kept the mess to a minimum.

Leif says

Leif says, "look Mom I made Dallin a bath!"

Leif says, "I don't want a banana in my lunchbox anymore, because I have to put the little strings on the floor and I get in trouble for putting food on the floor"

I say, "Leif why don't you put the banana strings on the table and then throw them away?"
Leif says, "because they are disgusting and I don't want to look at them while I eat"

Leif says, "you are the best mom in the universe, how did you know that I wanted a Clone Wars shirt?"
