Beach Day- Shane & Kerri

We had a wonderful day in paradise with the kids. Swimming, digging and laughing was all we needed to have a great Saturday. Just when we consider leaving this great state we remember the reasons why we are here and this simple beauty and fun of the beach makes us reconsider any decision to leave. I am sad that summer is almost over, hopefully the weather will continue to be warm through the early fall. We are so lucky to live so close to this little piece of heaven.

Beach day- Dallin

Dallin enjoyed the day by digging and splashing in the water, even had a ride on the boogie board!

Beach Day- Maxwell

Max enjoyed the day, pulling his boogie board around, swimming and building castles. Had a great time as always when he is at the beach.

Beach Day- Leif

Leif having a great Saturday at the Beach in South Walton. He kept busy by digging trenches, castles and making waterways.

Wanderer

Dallin loves to be set free. He likes to think that he can go outside all by himself and can go as far as he wants to go. He is truly happy when he is let outside wandering around to do his own thing.

Leif's 1st day of Kindergarten

Leif's first day of Kindergarten. He is very excited and this morning kept asking, can we walk now? I know he will have a great time, he is so confident and I already heard him introducing himself to the other kids as I was leaving. He went right up to the teacher and said, "good morning Mrs. Pangle." Max was already missing Leif as soon as we walked in the house, asking of he could stay at school with Leif. I am sure Max will jump right into the role of being big brother all day to Dallin. And he won't mind a bit being the boss of the toys. Wow, five years went by quick!!

Max's first stitches

It's amazing that Max cut his head in the exact same place Leif did 4 years ago. He is recovering well after the four sutures he received on Monday night. We were contemplating whether we should just cut and suture Dallin before he does it to himself as well! Just kidding, it was pretty frightening because there was a lot of blood, even Shane was shocked and scared. Max was strong and got to pick out the "big cookie" at Publix.
