Party at the beach
After cake, pinata and presents we met friends at the beach for Max's birthday. He had such a great time, there wasn't anywhere else in the world he would have wanted to be! We cooked hot dogs on the grill and had great surf to splash around in. They all had a great day, lots of laughs and tons of fun!
Max's 3rd birthday
Max has truly waited a year for this birthday. He started to realize what birthdays were about 8 months ago. Each time someone's birthday came around he would ask if it was his yet. He made it through Leif's and Dallin's, but the time my birthday came around he looked at me and asked, "my birthday YET"?? So finally this was a really special birthday for him because he finally realized what is involved in a birthday. He had a fabulous day and we will have one more candle for him on Monday his real birthdate.
Pinata time
Max picked out the Shrek pinata for his party, he wasn't strong enough to break it, but he got a few hits on it. Leif was really beating it and eventually broke it with a little softening up from Shane!
Present time
Max was so excited to open his presents. We had them ready and waiting when he woke up. The first words out of his mouth when he woke was, "it's my party"!!!!
Max's big cookie
Max does not like to eat cake, so for his 3rd birthday party I made him a big cookie. He was very excited to have a big cookie instead of a cake. I was happy because it was alot easier and quicker to make than a cake, and yummy too!
