Babyland General Hospital

Today's stop was at Babyland General Hospital in Cleveland, Georgia. It was my day to pick the activity, it was an easy choice since I have wanted to visit the hospital since I was a little girl. The boys had a great time, especially Leif. It brought back a lot of memories even for Shane thinking of his little Samuel.

The dolls are all out in the open and they are the original type with the soft sculpture faces. Each is cuter and more original then the next. They are all up for adoption. I really wanted to adopt a new baby but I fought the urge when we found out the adoption fees are about $350. Well the memories are free and we have lots of pictures!

This was the point when Leif said, "I never want to leave this place!"

Here we watched a cabbage patch baby born. It is quite a process, all went well though. There were two baby girls born during our visit.

Freezing at the Hatchery

After driving 5 miles on a dirt road in the mountains... here we are at the fish hatchery, it is just so cold and rainy too. That was a fast stop.

Max really enjoyed watching the fish jump and swim super fast. I was just glad no one fell in the water!

Train time

Dallin in the crib

Dallin is still in his crib which makes me happy, since Leif and Max were out of the crib when they were 17 months. It does make it easier for naptime. Although I can tell he is getting ready to be done sleeping in it soon. Before we take him to bed, he runs to Leif's bed and points to get up on it. I guess he would rather sleep with his brothers than by himself in his crib. Max stills sleeps with Leif in Leif's bed and I guess they better make room for their little brother soon. I will try as long as I can to keep Dallin in his crib!

Leif and the bear

While cleaning I found a storage box full of things from when I was young. This bear puppet was among a pile of doll clothes. I made the bear when I was a kid and some how ended in the box of saved things. Leif got a kick out of playing with it.

Max and his bride

While Shane was away last week I was cleaning out boxes in the garage and came across some dolls that were in storage. Max picked the bride doll and said "MINE" right away. Leif's response was "UGH gross!!" He had fun pulling at her clothes and making her fly around the house. The bride doll was made by Grandma Rose and I am glad that Max can enjoy it even if he uses it to fly around the house and chase Dallin with it.
